Kęstutis Survila was slow to take the kick. During this time North Hill United's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Kęstutis Survila got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gong Jun Feng quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When North Hill United's Jeremie Reijniers in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Joos Teurfs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Pietreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gigel Horhoianu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Pacho Papachantzoulis was substituted for Marciano Cambranes. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iulian Pietreanu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Pacho Papachantzoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by North Hill United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Petrică Cândreanu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's players had a chance to rest. North Hill United made a substitution. Nils De Geutter replaced Tiberiu Florescu. North Hill United's Jim Roussel was substituted for Tommi Van Der Meren. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Gong Jun Feng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gong Jun Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremie Reijniers in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Jeremie Reijniers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gong Jun Feng. Jeremie Reijniers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Pietreanu in the 89th minute of play forced North Hill United's goalkeeper Joos Teurfs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gong Jun Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremie Reijniers in the 91st minute of play. Joos Teurfs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacho Papachantzoulis in the 93rd minute of play. Jeremie Reijniers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Gong Jun Feng made a huge save. The North Hill United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
